Brantford Toyota Sponsors BURST Run, Helps Raise Almost $9,000 for SKIP
Brantford Toyota has sponsored and participated in the first-ever BURST run, and has helped raise almost $9,000 for SKIP Brantford.
The run was held at the city's Civic Centre, and saw over 600 people participate and complete a five-kilometre scenic route along the Grand River. Brantford Toyota made a direct donation in support of the event, and also set up a tent and a prominent vehicle display to engage participants.
The dealership's team handed out hundreds of water bottles to all runners, and showcased a top-of-the-line Tacoma 4x4 Double Cab V6 equipped with the TRD Sport Upgrade Package. The truck was dressed in custom Brantford Toyota graphics, and effectively showcased Performance Auto Group's commitment to the community.
The untimed event saw participation from people of all age groups, and showered everyone who crossed the finish line with bursts of colour. Prizes were also raffled off to participants who made donations to the Brantford Food Bank, including a City of Brantford package, a fitness package, yoga certificates, SKIP gift packs, books, and an iPod Shuffle.

Brantford Toyota Sponsors Golf Tournament in Support of Nova Vita
Brantford Toyota has sponsored the 20th Annual Nova Vita Charity Golf Tournament, and has helped raise much-needed funds to support families experiencing domestic abuse and homelessness.
The tournament was held at the Northridge Municipal Golf Course, and saw participation from over 70 golfers and nearly 190 people. Brantford Toyota sponsored a Hole-in-One contest, and offered everyone the opportunity to win a lease on a brand new Toyota 86 customized with a striking full-body wrap.
The 86 was on display beside Brantford Toyota's tent on the greens, and attracted a lot of public attention throughout the event. A total of 186 people tried to ace the hole, and it helped make the event incredibly joyous and energetic.
Proceeds from the tournament will help Nova Vita provide vital support and care services to women and families in need throughout Brantford.

Brantford Toyota Sponsors Paris FC Soccer Teams
Brantford Toyota is proudly sponsoring two teams at the Paris FC Soccer Club.
Victor Silva, a technician at Brantford Toyota, coaches the Under 9 team at the club and has three sons who all play for Paris FC. Nathan and Caleb play for the Paris FC Under 9 team, whereas Zachary plays for the Under 10.

This is Nathan and Caleb's first year playing rep soccer, and their team is so far undefeated in their season with a record of five wins, zero losses, and two ties. Zachary, on the other hand, is in his second year of rep soccer, and his team has a record seven wins, two losses, and three ties. Zachary has also been named Team Captain this year.
Victor said that Brantford Toyota's sponsorship of his sons' teams has allowed them to continue playing soccer, and thanked the dealership and Performance Auto Group for their support. "I would like to say a big thank you to Brantford Toyota and Performance Auto Group on behalf of the Silva family and both the teams. Your generous sponsorship has allowed us to continue playing this beautiful game, and we are very proud to wear Brantford Toyota's logo on our jerseys," said Victor.

It attracted a lot of public attention, with people taking photographs and inquiring about its specs from Brantford Toyota staff all day long.

"Brantford Toyota has always been a proud community partner and is dedicated to supporting charitable initiatives, especially when it comes to people's health. Brantford Canada 150 Celebrations
Brantford Toyota participated in the Canada 150 Community Parade and Party on Saturday, June 3, and celebrated Canada's 150th birthday alongside a variety of floats and bands.
The dealership showcased three different vehicles in the parade, including a brand new Toyota 86 customized with a striking full-body wrap, a new Toyota Tacoma, and a new Toyota Tundra. The Tacoma was a top-of-the-line 4x4 Double Cab V6 model with a TRD Sport Upgrade Package, and was also equipped with a dealership-installed lift kit and aggressive all-terrain tires. The Tundra, on the other hand, was a luxurious 4x4 Double Cab SR 5.7L with a TRD Pro package.
All vehicles had prominent Brantford Toyota and Performance Auto Group decals on them, and the trucks also carried Canada flags to mark the day. The convoy attracted a lot of public attention throughout the parade route, and helped showcase Performance's commitment to support and participate in community events.

Brantford Toyota has received the prestigious President's Award from Toyota Canada for demonstrating outstanding performance in all dealership operations in 2016.
The award is a top honour bestowed annually to only a select few dealerships across Canada, and recognized Brantford Toyota for consistently providing exceptional customer service and exceeding all performance expectations. The dealership's team achieved top marks for providing an outstanding Toyota purchase experience, and for exceeding all targets related to customer satisfaction in sales, service, parts and accessories.
Brantford Toyota General Manager Ben Cliff says he is very happy to have received the President's Award, and is proud of his team's honest efforts. Brantford Toyota Dresses Up in Pink to support Anti-Bullying Day
Brantford Toyota has marked this year's Anti-Bullying Day by dressing up entirely in pink, and has helped the fundraising efforts of the Boys and Girls Club of Brantford by purchasing official Pink Shirt Day attire from the youth service organization.
The day was marked on February 22 and saw all Brantford Toyota staff members put on pink T-shirts to symbolize their stand against bullying. All items related to the day, including shirts, buttons and pins, were exclusively purchased from the Boys and Girls Club with proceeds going towards supporting youth-oriented day care programs.
The club organizes summer camps, after-school activities, evening drop-ins and other related services year-round. It has organized Wear Pink Day in Brantford for six straight years, and the event has been held nationally since 2007.
Brantford Toyota General Manager Ben Cliff said he is proud to have supported such an important event and to have joined hands with the community against bullying. "We all must make concerted efforts to highlight the very real danger posed by bullying, and must stand together to end it in all its different forms. Initiatives like Pink Shirt Day go a long way to educate and bring people together against bullying, which is why we are very proud to support this year's Anti-Bullying Day," said Ben.

Brantford Toyota partakes in Heels to Heal Walk, raises $18,000
Brantford Toyota has participated in the sixth annual Nova Vita Heels to Heal Walk in Harmony Square, Downtown Brantford, and has raised $18,000 to help support and protect victims of domestic violence.
The event was held on Saturday, June 18, and saw hundreds of men, women, and children walk the city's downtown core in red coloured high heels to symbolise their stand against domestic violence. A total of $36,000 was donated during the day, half of which was raised by Brantford Toyota.
The dealership's team included service advisors Matt Outerson and Melissa Hofmeister. Outerson dressed up as a pirate in high heels for the day, and joined a team of pirates to walk on stage and entertain children at the fundraiser. The pirates were later declared as the event's best fundraising team. Hofmeister, meanwhile, volunteered at the event and helped Nova Vita organize and manage the walk. A few of the dealership's guests also attended the event.
Brantford Toyota General Manager Ben Cliff is very proud of his team's participation, and lauds their efforts to raise funds for a deserving cause. "Domestic violence, in all its shapes and forms, is dangerous and must be stopped. It negatively impacts everyone in the short and long term, including victims and perpetrators. Brantford Toyota presents $1,100 cheque to Jean Vanier Catholic Elementary School
Brantford Toyota has presented a $1,100 cheque to Jean Vanier Catholic Elementary School on behalf of Toyota Evergreen Learning Grounds.
The cheque was handed over by Brantford Toyota General Manager Ben Cliff to Principal Terry Dunnigan, who will use the funds to construct a new playground for kindergarten children.
"Brantford Toyota has been involved with Evergreen since February 2014, and has previously donated $1,000 to St. George German School through the program. Our association with Evergreen is part of our commitment to support local communities, and we are very proud to have contributed to Brantford for over 45 years," said Cliff.
The Learning Grounds program is a joint venture between Evergreen and Toyota Canada Inc., and has been helping schools transform their grounds into greener learning environments since 2000. To date, Toyota and its dealers have contributed more than $6 million to the program, and have helped over 3,000 schools provide outdoor learning opportunities to over 1.4 million students.
The program also provides a host of resources to educational institutions to help them maintain their grounds, including comprehensive guidebooks, instructional videos, and research reports. Funds awarded to institutions range from $500 to $2,000, with the program matching schools with local Toyota dealerships for participation in various planting events.

Brantford Toyota goes Pink to support Anti-Bullying Day

Brantford Toyota provides New Shuttle to Wilfrid Laurier Students' Union
Brantford Toyota has provided a new shuttle vehicle to Wilfrid Laurier University Students' Union, kicking off an era of partnership between the dealership and the prestigious university.
The shuttle is a 2014 Toyota Sienna that has been completely wrapped in custom graphics by Brantford Toyota, and is the result of almost two months of collaboration between the dealership and the Students' Union.
Brantford Toyota General Manager Ben Cliff is very proud of his team's partnership with the university, and hopes that the deal will be the start of a long-lasting association.
"The deal is not just limited to the hand-over of keys. Rather, it signifies the beginning of a relationship with one of Canada's most prominent universities. Brantford Toyota is very proud of this union, and hopes to provide long-term support to Wilfrid Laurier", said Cliff.
He said Brantford Toyota was selected by the Students' Union after they visited numerous dealerships throughout the city, and this speaks volumes to the dealership's ability to provide the best sales and service deals in the region.
Union representatives also thanked the dealership's staff for making the purchase process simple and quick, adding, "We are extremely happy with our purchase and the great relationship that we have developed with Brantford Toyota". They said the new shuttle is a huge win for Wilfrid Laurier students, and will provide support to students across the university.
"A large number of students have already thanked us and Brantford Toyota for this beautiful new shuttle vehicle. Therefore, I can safely say that it will receive a lot of positive attention once the fall semester begins. Thank you Brantford Toyota for your immense help and great customer service, and we very much look forward to showing off our new wheels in September," said a union representative.
